Tusen Takk II<\/em> (a “thousand thanks” in Norwegian) was a 2001 Kadey-Krogen 48 North Sea trawler previously owned by Chuck and Barb Shipley — formerly of Savannah, GA. She was purchased in Stuart, FL in April 2005 and moved to their dock on the Ogeechee River in May 2005.<\/p>\n

On July 1, 2005 the Shipleys sold their house and cars, left Savannah and began living aboard Tusen Takk II<\/em>. This web site was intended to keep their family and friends updated about their travels.<\/p>\n

In mid-September of 2019 they sold Tusen Takk II and commenced living full-time in their 40′ RV.  They intend to keep the name of the blog and continue to report on their travels.<\/p>\n
